Ownership, use, and attribution
This page identifies the software and explains the boundary between the reusable Alpaca platform, third-party technology, source data, and client deliverables. It is a notice, not a substitute for a signed agreement.
Copyright and license

Except where a written agreement signed by the rights holder expressly permits it, no license is granted to copy, modify, distribute, disclose, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from first-party Alpaca source code or reusable components.
Third-party components and materials remain subject to their own licenses and notices.
Trademarks and independence

Platform and client-deliverable boundary
- Alpaca Tools is intended to remain reusable background technology, separate from client data and expressly scoped client deliverables.
- Client data remains the client's data. Delivery of a report, integration, configuration, or export does not by itself transfer the underlying Alpaca platform, source code, reusable libraries, templates, methods, or pre-existing intellectual property.
- Actual ownership, license, confidentiality, and deliverable rights are governed by applicable signed agreements. This page does not amend or override any client, employment, or vendor contract.
- Raw client files and exact-format Workday payloads are not modified merely to add branding. Generator and build provenance may instead be carried in response or document metadata.
Validate consequential outputs
Outputs depend on configured and source data and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Validate results before production deployment or consequential decisions.
Alpaca Tools does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, employment, privacy, security, or compliance advice.
Workday and other source systems remain authoritative. Human review, tenant testing, required approvals, and professional advice remain necessary.
Authorized data and confidentiality
Use the tool only with systems and data you are authorized to access. Do not place credentials, client extracts, contracts, or confidential client artifacts in the source repository or a public issue. Runtime data must remain in approved protected storage.
Access to this application does not grant permission to disclose its source code or proprietary materials. Trade-secret protection also depends on real access controls and written obligations, not a footer alone.
Third-party materials and Workday examples
Open-source libraries retain their original licenses and notices. Workday documentation, screenshots, interface elements, examples, and other Workday materials remain owned by Workday or their respective owners and are not covered by the Alpaca proprietary license.
Any official-example test corpus must remain access-controlled, preserve provenance and applicable Workday Developer Program terms, and avoid redistributing Workday material unless the governing terms expressly permit it.

Ownership record
The configured rights-holder name is product metadata, not a transfer instrument. A copyright transfer requires an executed written assignment. Do not change the owner to Atlas Consulting solely in code or configuration; first form the exact legal entity and complete the applicable assignments and contract review.
